Works under creation
I tend to work on various projects at the same time. Utilising this method works in
the way that when my mind overloads with one image I can move to another. Often
the creative process works best by taking breaks and changing ones mind set.
The pictures above are of the beginnings of a life size Red Deer Stag. He will be
fighting in the rut with another stag once it is finished.

The English weather has halted work on this
sculpture for the entire month of July because of
constant rain! There has been the odd reasonable
day but other  priorities have taken place first.
Here are the beginnings of a fox. He is in proportion with the pheasant which will have
it's tail feathers in the foxes mouth as it escapes. There is a long way to go and
some tricky technical problems to over come. Which is what makes the creation of
these sculptures so exciting.
The fox will be standing on it's hind legs in the finished work. As one can see the best
use of a door has been made to hold the wire sculpture up. On the ground are tools of
the trade a humble pair of pliers.
This 'vixen' will be sent to the foundry
Pangolin Editions on the 5th January
2010 to begin the long process of being
cast into bronze.
If one clicks onto the picture it will take you to the
page that has more photographs and information
about the sculpture.
The same sculpture showing how it has
developed. The head has yet to be
completed, the legs formed. Tail has to
be filled in and the front left leg moved
back. It's looking good but so much work
yet to go.
